About TNBC

Founded in 2014 as a non-profit organization with charitable status. The New Baroque Company (TNBC)  is a project ensemble of flexible size and instrumentation composed of early music specialists active both Korea and internationally. The ensemble's performance season includes an important annual production devoted to the exploration of intersections between Baroque music and different forms of arts and disciplines such as dance, poetry, jazz, Korean traditional music, film-making and science.

더 뉴바로크 컴퍼니는 국내,외 활발하게 활동하는 원전악기 전문 연주자들로 구성된 단체로 바로크 음악과 타 예술 장르 또는 학문과의 융·복합을 통해 새로운 장르를 시도하고 있다.  본 단체는 융·복합의 의미를 단순히 다른 장르와의 만남으로만 두지 않고 각 장르의 본질을 지키며 역사적 배경과 예술적 의미를 되살려 현대인이 공감할 수 있는 예술로의 재탄생을 목적으로 한다.
