
Yujin Chang
artistic director & baroque cello
Yujin Chang is a graduate of the Yewon Art School (1994), Seoul Arts High School (1996), Seoul National University (2000), Hochschule für Musik und Kunst Bremen (Diploma, 2003) and Hochschule für Theater und Music Hamburg (Certificate, 2006). She was a third-prize winner at the Chosun Competition and a recipient of the Gold Award at the Korea Festival Competition. She has performed with the Bremen Barock Consort in Germany and has appeared as soloist with the Seoul Symphony Orchestra, Gangnam Symphony Orchestra, and Hamburg Symphony. She has also given recitals in several important venues, including the Seoul Arts Center, Gumho Art Hall, and the Hamburg Laeiszhalle.
As an educator, Ms. Chang taught at Joongang University, Seokyung Univeristy, and Yonsei University (Early Music Research Institute). Since 2018 she has been participated in TNBC as an artistic director and is also a founder of The Open Strings.
